OnePlus Offers Lifetime Replacement on all Phones to Address Green Line Issue

OnePlus smartphone users have faced green line issues for years and this announcement will bring relief among the customers.

OnePlus India CEO Robin Liu said that OnePlus is the first brand to offer lifetime warranty for Indian users, showcasing confidence in technology and user-first approach.

In order to tackle the green line issue on AMOLED, OnePlus has developed “Green Line Worry-Free Solution.” The Chinese smartphone makers will add a superior protective layer into the AMOLED screen and the new screens will feature the PVX Enhanced Edge Bonding Layer, known for its resistance to weathering and chemicals. This material will create a barrier that slows moisture and oxygen intrusion.

OnePlus said that the PVX layer will reduce the occurrence of the green line issue to an industry-low level, even in the most demanding climates like India’s.

This policy will apply to every device we sell, from the latest OnePlus 13 to older models, said OnePlus.

OnePlus also announced it plans to invest up to Rs 6,000 crore in its India business over the next three years on December 5. The company plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore annually for the next three years under 'Project Starlight' to boost product innovation and improve services in India, reported PTI.
