Bala-Sasi combo film titled Thaarai Thappattai

It is a known secret that Bala and Sasikumar are coming together for a film which is based on our traditional folk art, Karagattam.

Sources indicate that while Sasi will be seen playing a Nadaswara vidwan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will essay the role of a Karakattam dancer. So what’s new? Though it was said that the National Award winning filmmaker had titled it Karagattam, a close source to the production house confirms that the film has been named aptly Thaarai Thappattai.

The buzz is that the former assistant of director Ameer will portray a new look. Everyone knows that Sasi and his facial hair are inseparable. We hear that the Subramaniapuram director has opted for a clean shaven look in TT.

He is sporting a thin moustache and a bit of curly hair, a style which is normally associated with those who play the Nadaswaram.
