Kollywood is friendly to me, says the beautiful Mia George

Chennai: Mia George, who has done more than five films in Malayalam, has now forayed into Tamil industry in Arya’s productional venture Amarakaaviyam.

Sathya, actor Arya’s brother, plays the protagonist in the film. The film is directed by Jeeva Sankar, whose last film was Naan which had Vijay Antony in the lead.

Talking to DC about her debut venture in Tamil, Mia George says, “ I opted for this film as I loved the script. It’s not a usual love story, it conveys the true meaning of immortal love.”

Talking about her character in the film, she said, “I play a role of a school girl. In fact, my role has a platform to showcase my acting skills. I believe that this film will be a perfect launch for me into the Tamil industry.”

She adds, “Initially, I had apprehensions about the work culture in K’town, and how the filmmaking style would be. I was also not sure if people here would accept me. But now, I feel very comfortable working with this team, as the entire crew is very friendly to me.”
