Priyanka Chopra cannot stay long without her mother

Mumbai: The world may see her as this gutsy actress and singer but at heart, Priyanka Chopra is still mommy’s little girl. She had confessed in a recent interview that she doesn’t like to travel without her mother, because she hates leaving her alone at home. She even says that she feels lost without her mother around.  

Currently, PC is shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do in Barcelona. The crew commenced the long schedule of the film with great enthusiasm. This was one of the rare shoots where Priyanka’s mother wasn’t able to accompany her. “The team realised that Priyanka was not in her right element. There was 100 per cent concentration on the shoot but it was very evident that she was missing her mom,” says a unit member.

Zoya and team DDD team decided to fly PC’s mother to Barcelona. “Priyanka’s mother was flown in without her daughter’s knowledge. To say that Priyanka was surprised and ecstatic, would be an understatement,” says a unit member. The mother daughter-duo was also seen shopping in Barcelona besides spending time on the sets as well.
