Don't compare me with my mother: Angelina Jolie
Actress thinks her mother was a better parent
London: Angelina Jolie thinks her mother was a better parent to her than she is to her own children. The 'Maleficent' actress, who raises six children with fiance Brad Pitt, said her late mother Marcheline Bertrand is her role model and could not have done a better job at bringing up her and her brother James Haven, reported Contactmusic.
"It's hard to think I could be as good a mother as she was. Her whole life was motherhood," Jolie said. The 39-year-old star also admitted she prefers to home-school her children because she wants them to have a bigger picture of life. Meanwhile, last week, Jolie spoke at the summit to end sexual violence in London and she has vowed to keep campaigning forever.
"I will work on this for as long as I am alive, for as long as it takes... This sends a big message around the world. You see how women are treated as second-class citizens and abused. This is to say, 'No you can't' and we will, in an organised fashion, come after you," she said.
