Mumbai: Actress Surveen Chawla, last seen as a host on 'Comedy Circus ke Superstars' in 2010, says she would like to make a comeback on TV with seasonal shows like '24' and 'Yudh'.

Surveen started off her showbiz career with daily soap 'Kahin To Hoga' and after gaining the popularity as Charu Sinha on the show, she went on to star in other TV serials 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and 'Kaajjal'.

"I am not taking up fiction any more. I want to make a comeback on TV but only with seasonal shows like 24' and 'Yudh'. They are changing the quality of shows on TV. Seasonal shows consume less time and viewers also find them interesting. They are like a longer version of a film," Surveen told PTI.

The actress' debut full-fledged Bollywood film 'Hate Story 2' hit theatres recently and Surveen is getting rave reviews for playing the female protagonist in the revenge drama, which also stars TV actor Jay Bhanushali opposite her.

"I am lucky that people are liking me in my first full-fledged role in Bollywood. And I credit TV only for making my fan-base strong. It's because of TV only people went to the theatres to watch the film," she said.
