London: Retired soccer ace David Beckham says his son Brooklyn no longer likes him drive up to the school gates.
When the host asked what the family has planned for Brooklyn's 16th birthday in March, Beckham, who appeared on 'Good Morning Britain', said, "I think he wants to go for a dinner with his friends and he'll have a separate dinner with his family because he's at the age now when he doesn't want me to drop him outside the school and things like that - which I definitely do anyway!"
The 39-year-old said he still makes sure to give Brooklyn a secret kiss on the cheek, even though he doesn't want "too much affection" from his father.
On being asked not to go to the school gates, he said, "I wasn't happy about it because I'd got up at seven in the morning to take him to school so I dropped him round the corner, and as he was walking into school I opened the window and shouted 'I love you!' to him."
