Shah Rukh Khan begins shooting for 'Fan' in Delhi

Shooting began at a local residential neighborhood

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was photographed on Friday, filming on the sets of his upcoming Maneesh Sharma film ‘Fan’. The actor and the filming crew are in Delhi to shoot a segment of the film.
 
On hearing about the star’s arrival at a local Delhi neighbourhood, SRK fans rushed to the scene and cheered for their idol. 
 
 
The scene required Shah Rukh to walk along the by lanes of the residential area. The actor was quick to switch back under the hood of his black leather hooded jacket. 
 
On seeing the throngs of fans crowd the roof tops of neighbouring buildings, the star smiled, waved and blew kisses to them. 
 
 
According to reports, Shah Rukh who will be seen in a double role, will be playing a superstar and a middle-class man who looks just like the star. The commoner obsesses over the star to such an extreme that the superstar then feels threatened by him.
 
The much-awaited film that was scheduled to hit theatres on Independence Day had been postponed, because of some pending work on its never-seen-before VFX. 
 
Producer Aditya Chopra had offered the initial release date of ‘Fan’ to his good friend Karan Johar for the release of his film ‘Brothers’ which stars Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra.
