Gionee Elife S7 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system

Gionee revealed the first look of its new slim flagship handset– Gionee Elife S7 at MWC 2015 on March 2, 2015. The good news is that the Gionee Elife S7 has been rolled out in the Indian market too!

Gionee launched the Elife S7 at an event in Hyderabad on April 4, 2015.  The newly launched Elife S7 handset sports a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen, with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The dual 4G LTE handset is 5.5mm thin, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Gionee Elife S7 offers a new Amigo 3.0 interface and 16GB of onboard storage capacity. It also sports a 13MP rear snapper with an improved version of beauty mode feature. The night mode engine of Gionee Elife S7’s primary can capture photos in about 1 second. One can also adjust the brightness and image noise. Gionee has used the Face beauty 3.0 technology for the 8MP front-facing camera, which can estimate an individual's gender and age on selfie photos. The company claims that the features of CharmCam have also been updated.

The dual-SIM smartphone weighs around 127 grams and is fuelled by a 2750mAh battery. It will be available in three colours - black, white, and blue and is priced at Rs 24,999 for the Indian market.
