Shabana travels in Mumbai’s local train for her upcoming film

Last week, Shabana Azmi, travelled by a local train in Mumbai to get a first hand experience of how it feels to be a commuter in a jam-packed compartment. We hear it’s part of her preparation for her role in an upcoming movie titled Chalk n Duster.

A source in the know reveals, “The actress travelled from Andheri to Virar with her entourage, who helped her out, to get under the skin of her character of a middle-class teacher.

She also spoke to a few fellow commuters who were visibly star-struck. In her conversations with them, Shabana got to know about their daily struggles of travelling long distances in local trains to reach work on time.”
