This superhero is a first of his kind: Tiger Shroff
Actor talks about working on his first superhero film
After an impressive debut in Heropanti, Tiger Shroff has wowed fans once again with his dance moves and stunts in Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main, a music video that also features Pakistani singer Atif Aslam. Tiger says that fans will have to wait till the end of the year to see him on the big screen again. In a candid chat he talks about his love for dancing, working on a superhero movie and more. Excerpts:
When do we see you on the big screen next?
At the end of the year.
How is your superhero flick progressing and what can fans expect?
We start rolling in July. I’m so excited to work with Remo sir and Balaji. The script is fantastic and all I can reveal is that this superhero is a first of his kind.
Your mom makes it a point to cheer for you at every event. Tell us about her influence in your life?
She is my biggest supporter and critic. The reason I push myself so hard is because I want to make her happy.
What made you go for Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main?
It was my idea to do this video. I wanted to convey my gratitude to all the people who supported and showed me so much love and appreciation for my debut film. It’s mainly the youth, so it’s just a celebration of life. So that’s how Bhushan (Kumar) Sir, Ahmed (Khan) sir and I decided to create this video.
Any memories from the shoot of the video?
Dancing in the heat wasn’t the best feeling. Not once did Ahmed sir leave the blazing hot set to sit back and relax. So the least I could do was not complain and give it my best. I’m just happy that all our hard work has paid.
Are you open to doing more music videos?
Yes. However, I’d like to call them short films. There needs to be a message along with the entertainment. I believe shooting it this way does help put the message across; like the way Michael Jackson used to shoot his songs.
