When Alia’s leap of faith for ‘Shaandaar’ helped her get a perfect shot
The actress was scared to rehearse for an important scene in the film
Mumbai: Time and again Alia Bhatt has proved her versatility through her enviable acting chops and this time around with ‘Shaandaar’ she is no different.
While shooting for her upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor, Alia jumped into the dark waters without giving it a second thought. The scene required Alia to jump into a pond during the night time. The secluded location combined with the chilling dark night made the petite actress apprehensive.
However, the film’s director, Vikas Bahl affirmed that a proper recce has been done, which eventually assured the young actress. A scared Alia then delivered a perfect shot, coming across as fearless and unaffected by her previously held dilemmas.
The film has generated maximum buzz this year for its fresh pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and is eagerly awaited by its audiences.
‘Shaandaar’ is all set to release on 22nd October 2015.
