Prof. Dr C. Raj Kumar called Telangana the country\'s leader as far as higher education was concerned
Hyderabad: O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) and Seattle University have forged a new academic partnership that helps create innovative opportunities for students and faculty, according to the statement.
IT said the MoU would strengthen JGU’s collaboration with Seattle University through collaborative research, joint publications and library exchanges, faculty and student exchange programmes, teaching, research, and mobility of scholars between the institutions to participate in conferences, lectures, and seminars.
A joint delegation from JGU and SU is embarking on a five-city tour, wherein the senior leadership of both universities will converse with students, educators and thought leaders on the future of higher education in an increasingly globalised world.
Prof. Eduardo Peñalver, Seattle University’s president professor, said that relationships must be built at the institutional level to later create relationships at the individual level.
JGU founding Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr C. Raj Kumar called Telangana the country's leader as far as higher education was concerned, so it was only natural that Seattle University would visit the state.
He added that the national education policy had several aspects that focus on improving the quality of education, benchmarking Indian institutions with the best institutes around the world, as well as promoting excellence in teaching and research, and developing a research ecosystem through national research foundation.
