Language Volunteer Programme Revived in Tribal Schools

VISHAKHAPATNAM: Responding to concerns about the discontinuation of the Savara language volunteer programme in tribal schools, Dr D.V.G. Shankar Rao, chairman of the State ST Commission, has taken steps to revive the programme. He secured government approval for the continuation of Savara and other tribal language volunteers, ensuring the continuation of mother tongue-based multilingual education (MTB-MLE) in tribal areas.
