Boys Shine in AP EAPCET-2023 Results, Four Telangana Students Get Top Ranks

Vijayawada: Boys occupied the first 10 slots in the Engineering section while 8 boys and two girls secured the first 10 positions in the Agriculture section when AP EAPCET-2023 results were out on Wednesday. The results were released by education minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

In the Engineering section, Challa Umesh Varun secured 158 out of 160 marks and stood first. Bikkina Abhinav Chaudhary (157/160) stood second and Nandipati Sai Durgareddy (155/160) came third.

In the Agriculture category, Sathyaraja Jaswanth Burugupalli stood first with 153 marks while Bora Varun Chakraborty got the second place with 151 marks and Some Raj Kumar the third place with 151 marks.

Minister Satyanarayana said more girls have qualified than boys – girls getting a 3.99 higher percentage than the boys. In the Engineering stream, 2,24,724 candidates wrote the exam, of which 1,71,514 or  76.32  per cent candidates qualified. As many as 90,573 candidates appeared in the Agriculture category and 81,203 of them, or 89.65  per cent candidates, qualified for admissions.

Konni Rajkumar of Moulali, Secunderabad, and Rajewari Kuchuru of Himayatnagar of Telangana, got the third and sixth ranks in AP EAPCET agriculture. Bikkina Abinav Chowdary of Madhapur took the second rank and M. Sreekanth of Madhapur, Telangana, secured the 10th rank in AP EAPCET Engineering stream.  

In Engineering stream, Chintaparthi Babu Sujan Reddy (155/160) stood fourth, Duggineni Venkata Yugesh (154) fifth, Addagada Venkata Sivaram (153) sixth and Yakkanti P.V.M. Reddy (154) the seventh position.

Medapuram LM Bharadwaj (153) took the eighth position, Pinnu Shashank Reddy the ninth position (152), M Srikanth (152) the tenth position.

In the Agriculture stream, Valeti Sai Abhinav (149) got the fourth, Durgempudi Karthikeya Reddy (150) the fifth, Rajeshwari Kuchuru (149) the sixth and Thaddi Sai V.Y. Naidu (148) the seventh rank.

Gudipudi Keerti (147) got the eighth rank, Potnuru Ashish (148) the ninth rank, Derangula Abhijit Sai (147) the 10th rank.

Minister Satyanarayana said Andhra Pradesh will be turned into an ideal state and the state will maintain the top position in education in the country in the future. “Our government has paid special attention to the education sector and hence the results are impressive,” he claimed.

The minster congratulated all the students who qualified in the AP EAMCET-2023. He said, “Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy wants every student to rise to the global level and hence brought revolutionary reforms in education and introduced schemes to facilitate a golden future for AP students.”

Satyanarayana said 2,07,787 candidates have applied for AP EAPCET-2023 under Andhra University, 1,10,887 under Sri Venkateswara University, 16,056 under Osmania University and 4009 under non-local category. As many as 1,05,556 from OCs, 46,864 from BC-A, 2,221 from BC-B, 61,126 from BC-C, 17,235 from BC-D, 53,521 from BC-E and 11,383 from SC and ST communities have applied for EAPCET-2023.

He advised the students to check their results on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Steps are being taken to conduct counselling for the qualified students from July 15. He urged all the students to study well and shape themselves up like top techie, Satya Nadella.

Chairman of APSCHE Hemachandra Reddy, vice chairman Rammohan Rao,  vice chancellor of JNTU-Anantapur, Ranga Janardhana, secretary to higher education council Nazeer Ahmed, AP EAMCET-2023 convener Shobha Bindu, special officer of APSCHE, Sudhir Reddy and others were present.
