Students actively participate in Vignan Mahotsav 2K23

Vijayawada: Students from various colleges and educational institutions from different states actively participated in Vignan Mahotsav 2K23 on Thursday.

The Mahotsav, organised at the Vignan University, comprised 82 sports events, apart from cultural activities. Students performed outstandingly well in the events, including basketball, khokho, football, table tennis, chess, tennikoit and athletics.

Speaking on the occasion, cine director Venky Atluri underlined that only those who work hard in life rise to the top. He told the students that if they worked hard towards realisation of their dreams, they will be able to rise to the top.

Venky said also participating in sports enables students to develop both physical and mental capabilities. In the process, they can also improve their friendships.

Students from various states delighted the gathering with solo songs, short dramas, and retro dance performances. Folk and classical dance performances brought in a lot of cheer.

Vignan University chairman Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, vice chancellor Prof. P. Nagabhushan, registrar Dr. M.S. Raghunathan, deans, heads and students participated in the Mahotsav.
