Free coaching for AP Polycet-2023

Vijayawada: AP Technical Education commissioner Chadalavada Nagarani announced that all government polytechnics in the state are providing free coaching for Polycet-2023.

She underlined that polytechnic education is the best way to get employment at a very young age. The course is available to students who have passed their tenth class.

Nagarani pointed out that the first batch of students has started receiving coaching for Polycet from April 17. Another batch will start from 24th of this month. Study materials will be available for free in both English and Telugu.

The commissioner said Polycet-2023 will be conducted on May 10 at 410 examination centres in 61 towns across the state. They are expecting about 1,50,000 students to appear for the examination.

She pointed out that OC and BC students appearing for the entrance exam should pay entrance fee of ₹400 and ST, SC students ₹100 at the nearest government polytechnic or through the website https://polycetap.nic.in before 5 p.m. of April 30.

Nagarani said there are 10 government women's polytechnics and two minority polytechnics for girls across the state. State government will run another nine Adarsh Ashram polytechnics for SC and ST students with free accommodation. Each eligible student will get a three-year PRAGATI scholarship of ₹50,000 per year.

She said scholarship facility is available to all students admitted through Polycet-2023. Fee reimbursement facility is also being provided to students through Jagananna Vidyadevena.
