Two from AP figure in top 10 JEE (Main) ranks

Vijayawada: Two students from Andhra Pradesh have found place in All India top 10 ranks in JEE (Main)-2023 B.E. / B. Tech Session-II examination, whose results National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Saturday.

Punumalli Lohit Adhitya Sai hailing from Nellore secured All India second rank by securing 100 percentile in the NTA score.

He said, “I want to pursue CSE course in IIT, Bombay, and come up with some innovative work. My older brother Karthik is a source of inspiration to me, as he studied in IIT, Guwahati, and is working in an MNC.”

Adhitya Sai’s father Srinivasa Rao is a civil engineer and mother Varalakshmi a homemaker. He said they all helped him pursue his studies and secure a good rank. “I am grateful to my family members and teachers for their support,” he underlined.

Kallakuri Sainadh Srimanth, hailing from Amalapuram in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, secured all India 10th rank by scoring 100 percentile in the NTA score.

He said, “I am interested in pursuing my CSE course in IIT, Mumbai. I want to come up with a start-up in an innovative field. My father Subba Rao is in business while my mother Satya Kumari is a homemaker. As I am the only son, my parents helped me a lot to pursue my studies seriously and get a good rank in the JEE.”

Both these students are preparing dedicatedly for their JEE Advanced.

As many as 43 students secured 100 percentile all over the country in the exam.
