UoH Among Top 12% Global Universities for International Students: Report

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been ranked among the top 12 per cent universities in Asia for international students by the world’s best value university rankings for international students, conducted by Study Abroad Aide.

Study Abroad Aide assessed over 8,000 institutions in 69 countries, including 3,349 in Asia. The rankings are based on two primary metrics: affordability and academic reputation. Professor B.J. Rao, Vice Chancellor of UoH, said that affordability and quality of education had been positive outcomes for the university. "We will strive to become the first choice for international students in India," he told the media.

Other Indian institutions that made it to the list include the IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Roorkee and Guwahati, University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University (Aligarh), Anna University (Chennai), Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi), and Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune).
