Priyanka Chopra offered another Sanjay Leela Bhansali film?

A lot has been written about the recent development that Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are being considered for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next venture. However, if industry sources are to be believed, Priyanka may have already been offered another film by the director.

We were the first to announce to you that Deepika and Ranveer have been confirmed for SLB’s upcoming venture Padmavati. But while speculation has been rife that Priyanka was also being considered for the same project, latest information from the SLB camp suggests that Priyanka might soon be seen in a completely different venture by SLB, which will be helmed by a debutant director. Sources suggest that the film might be women-centric.

Deepika and Ranveer have been a preferred pair for Bhansali and have already worked with the director in two successful films, Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani and will soon be gearing up for a third one. However, they are not the only favourites for Bhansali who also has a special liking for Priyanka. She did a sensuous and well-received item number in Ram Leela and also acted in a pivotal role in Bajirao Mastani portraying the impressive and critically acclaimed role of Kashi Bai.

A source from the industry revealed, “Bhansali is producing a couple of films and for one of them he has approached Priyanka. The actress is busy with her Hollywood commitments but once she is back she will be giving her nod to the Bollywood offers she has in the pipeline and one of the scripts she will be considering is the one offered by Bhansali.”

Bhansali has earlier mentioned in more than one interview that he wants to produce more films now instead of helming them and that he would like to work again with his Bajirao trio — Ranveer, Deepika and Priyanka, all of whom have worked with the director twice already.

While promoting Bajirao, Priyanka too had expressed her fondness for Bhansali and had even revealed how she was in tears by the third day of the shoot because Bhansali is a strict taskmaster but how as the days went by she became comfortable and extremely fond of the director.
