Ranbir breaks his silence on pics with Mahira: Very unfair the way she's being judged

Mumbai: Actor Ranbir Kapoor rose to Mahira’s defence and expressed his feelings in a strong staement. He said, "I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also sad is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and love,”.

The ‘Jagga Jasoos’ star concluded with a cheeky afterthought. He said, “Both smoking and hate are injurious to health,".

Meanwhile, Ranbir avoided mentioning anything about the dating rumours with Mahira that have been doing the rounds ever since they met at the Global Teacher Prize gala in Dubai earlier this year. At that time, their videos were speculated to have ‘more than friends’ equation between the two.

Many actors, including Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Meesha Shafi, have expressed their feelings in the support of Mahira.
