The then most loved couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, had adopted their first daughter, Zahara, when she was six months old. And now, after almost 12 years, her biological mother wants to reconnect with her daughter.

As reported by DailyMail, the 31-year-old biological mother, Mentewab, said, “I just want her to know that I am alive and here and long to be able to speak with her. I do not want my daughter back, but just to be in contact with her and be able to call her up and talk with her.”

She also spoke her mind about who should get the custody of Zahara after the split, and she chose Angelina, and said that the actress has been more of a mother than herself, but she still misses her daughter and wants to be able to celebrate special days with her.

The report also informs that Mentewab, who had to give up her child due to illness and poverty, got no letters, photos, or money since the adoption.
