Theri sold for a whopping price

According to various reports, the highly anticipated movie has been sold for Rs 5.6 crore.

It’s a well-known fact that Vijay has a huge market in Kerala. His status in the Malayalam film industry has been proven once again as his soon-to-be released film Theri’s Kerala rights have been sold at a whopping price. Friday Film House in association with Carnival Pictures, which also bought the rights of Shankar’s I, has now bagged Theri.

According to various reports, the highly anticipated movie has been sold for Rs 5.6 crore, which exceeds the Rs 5.3 crore, which was offered for I. Vijay Babu, the founder and CEO of Friday Film House, took to Twitter to share his excitement — “Carnival motion pictures Pvt. Ltd & Friday film house joint venture bags the kerala theatrical rights of the most awaited mega movie Theri starring Vijay and Samantha. The movie will be released on April 14th. God bless (sic)”
