Bigg Boss 17: Rathika\'s parents respond to her breakup with Rahul Sipligunj

Rathika Rose, also known as Priya, gained prominence as one of the standout contestants in Season 7 of the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show. Despite her earlier endeavors to make her mark in Tollywood, Rathika's recognition soared after her stint on Bigg Boss Telugu.

During the initial two weeks of the show, Rathika captivated the audience with her physical appearance and noteworthy performances in the assigned tasks. However, a falling out with Pallavi Prashanth marred her journey. She also delved into personal matters, discussing her romantic involvement and subsequent breakup with Rahul Sipligunj, a notable celebrity and previous winner of Bigg Boss Telugu. These factors led to her eviction from the house in the third week.

Nonetheless, in a special Dussehra episode, Rathika made a surprising return to the house, as the contestant with the least number of votes among the participants. Her comeback was anticipated to shake things up, but Rathika once again aligned herself with Sivaji's camp.

Rathika's parents, who reside in the village of Thanduru in Vikarabad district, attracted attention when their youngest daughter, among three siblings, re-entered the Bigg Boss Telugu 7 house. A viral video captured Rathika seeking her parents' blessings before departing for Hyderabad to join the show.

According to a report from Asianet, Rathika's parents revealed, "Rathika aspired to establish herself in the entertainment industry and gain popularity. She initially had an opportunity to perform on the Pataas show, and from there, she gradually started receiving more offers, fueled by her passion. During her intermediate studies, she was even cast for a second female lead role in a movie titled 'Ee Janma Neeke,' which was set to be directed by the legendary late Vijaya Nirmala. Unfortunately, the project was shelved."

They continued, "While working in Hyderabad, Rathika received an offer to act in music videos alongside Rahul Sipligunj. They formed a friendship. Our daughter treats everyone as friends, and we believed they were good friends when he visited our home and attended Rathika's sister's wedding. However, rumors began circulating in our village about their relationship. We were unaware of the situation until they entered the Bigg Boss house, where their interactions with Pallavi Prashanth began to draw negative attention."
