The makers of actor Vijay Deverakonda’s forthcoming bilingual political drama, NOTA, have reportedly been ordered by the Telugu Censor Board to make a few cuts and mute certain dialogues in the film.
NOTA, which tells the story of a young CM, was screened for members of the Censor Board this Monday, and they felt that a few scenes and dialogues had the potential to trigger a controversy. According to a source close to the development, “The Censor Board has observed that certain scenes and dialogues in NOTA can be excluded to avoid a controversy, and the filmmakers have obliged.”
The film is directed by Anand Shankar.
