The recently released Telugu film Baby has taken the audience by storm, becoming one of the most popular movies in recent times. Directed by Sai Rajesh Neelam, the film features Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles. Building immense anticipation even before its theatrical release on July 14, Baby has managed to captivate viewers with its engaging story and stellar performances by the lead actors. The film has been drawing large crowds to theaters, resulting in impressive box office collections.

Given the film's tremendous success in theaters, the makers have decided to release it on OTT platforms as well. Reports suggest that the OTT version will include some extended scenes, making it even more appealing for viewers. The theatrical version ran for approximately 3 hours, and the OTT version is expected to have additional content, including a new song and extended scenes between Viraj Ashwin and Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

As per the reports, Baby is set to premiere on Aha OTT in September, and Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for the film. While earlier speculations hinted at an August release, it is now likely to hit OTT platforms in the first week of September, although an official announcement from the makers is yet to be made.

Baby has emerged as a massive hit, grossing around Rs 85 Crores worldwide. Initially, it was anticipated to surpass the 100 Crores mark, but its collections have slowed down after a phenomenal run at the box office for nearly three weeks.

Produced by SKN under the banner of Mass Movie Makers, Baby boasts an impressive soundtrack and background score composed by Vijay Bulganin, and the cinematography is handled by MN Balreddy.

Given the release of other notable films like Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's Bro The Avatar, which may have impacted Baby's collections, the makers have taken proactive steps to reignite audience interest. They plan to re-edit the film by removing around 10 minutes of unnecessary scenes while adding new scenes, totalling 15 to 20 minutes. These new scenes are strategically included to cater to the youth audience and enhance the overall viewing experience.
