Director Chandoo Mondeti’s Savyasachi was inspired by an article on the vanishing twin syndrome. He reveals how he got the idea. “Because of a friend, I read an article on the vanishing twin syndrome and how it works. I had a story in my mind and I wanted to club both of them. So, I shared my idea with Naga Chaitanya and he got excited. I discussed the same with my producers and they felt it was a new idea. Then I prepared the subject,” says Chandoo about his story.

He adds that he saw the film a few days ago and is confident about it. “Generally, Madhavan accepts any film if it is peculiar or a different subject. When I narrated the subject to him, he accepted it as he said it was a different and interesting story. He is a pan Indian actor and will be playing a strong role in the film,” he says about Madhavan.

The director also dismisses the suggestion that it resembles Nagarjuna’s earlier film Hello Brother. “There are no similarities between these two films, as my story is completely different,” says the director. “The two hands are of equal power for the protagonist, and the left hand acts differently when a situation arises. The story revolves around this,” he explains.
