HanuMan clocks Rs 50 cr nett collections in AP? TS?
The superhero saga turned out to be a massive winner across India and proved that Telugu films with ‘devotional’ tinge are going to make huge money among Hindi film viewers.
Despite releasing in a lesser number of theatres in two Telugu states, the much-hyped ‘Hanu Man’ is racing ahead and minting gold at the box office in two Telugu states. “Its collections are rising dramatically every day over the last one week to garner around Rs 50 crore nett collections in two Telugu states and still going great guns,” says a distributor, who admits the socio-fantasy suffered in the first few days. “It was denied a decent number of theatres and few exhibitors violated agreements with distributors in Telangana but still Prashanth Varma’ superhero film struck a chord with masses and still counting,” he adds.
The film was sold for a whopping Rs 27 crores in Telugu states but still it has moved to the profit zone in just six days and is going to be another big winner among Telugu viewers. "Telugu distributors have moved to the profit zone and are looking to make more money with other films losing steam at the box office,” he adds.

Hanu-Man is set to surpass the collections of ‘Karthikeya 2’ in the days to come, he adds.
