Despite being a sought-after actor for anger-driven roles, Nandamuri Balakrishna doesn’t want his son and aspiring actor Mokshagna to tread his path. “I don’t want him to be inspired by me, although my fans would be upset with my decision,’ he says and adds, "Mokshagna will be making his debut very soon and it will be a much-awaited film. I'll be behind him like a rock, but I wish he treks his own path,’ he added.
He was addressing a gathering at an event yesterday and heaped praise on young actor Vishwak Sen. “I want my son to take a cue from new-generation actors," he adds. He claims that he can match strides with young generation heroes like Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Adivi Sesh and give them a tough fight. “I am in no mood to give up,” he quips.
The scion of the Nandamuri family also hinted at a multistarrer with Vishwak Sen if they find the right script. “It will be a combination of satellite and digital channels,” he concludes.
Balakrishna is making waves with big hits like 'Akhanda' and 'Veerasimha Reddy' and planning to join hands with director Boyapati Srinu for 'Akhanda 2'.
