Ponnambalam expresses gratitude towards Chiranjeevi at birthday celebrations in Hyderabad

Veteran Tamil actor and stuntman Ponnambalam has recently given an emotional speech at Chiranjeevi's birthday party in Hyderabad where he talked about his long career in cinema and how important Chiru had been to him.
“I am so happy today for celebrate Chiranjeevi’s birthday here at this place. I have come all the way from Chennai,” Ponnambalam expressed his happiness on attending the event.
With over 1,500 films to his credit as a fight master Ponnambalam spoke of one remarkable moment in his journey: “Once upon a time, when Gharana Mogudu was not doing well I said that I would leave.” He mentioned it just to emphasize what kind of stakes he used to play with then.
Ponnambalam also revealed a little about some of his early years in the industry, stating, “Our daily wages were just ₹350 back in 1985-86. But once during shooting one of Chiranjeevi’s films, they paid each fighter₹1,000 – a lot of money in those days.”
The actor-stuntman broke down when he told us about Chiranjeevi’s kindness towards him especially during his sickness. “Consider me someone with kidney failure from that point forward until now and Chiranjeevi garu has spent ₹60 lakh on my treatment,” Ponnambalam said thankfully for the support he gets.
When concluding, Ponnambalam stated: “This is all because of Chiranjeevi.” With these words it was clear that the actor had a deep respect for Mega Star.
