AP Govt transfers two IAS officers in Minor Rejig

Vijayawada: In a minor administrative rejig, the state government transferred Dr Sreedhar Chekuri, the incumbent industries director, and appointed him as the collector and district magistrate of YSR Kadapa district. Muttimbaku Abhishikth Kishore, managing director of APIIC, has been given full additional charge of the post of director, industries, until further orders.

Similarly, the government withdrew the services of Dr G Lakshmisha as the vice-chairman and managing director of the AP Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) from the health, medical, and family welfare department and appointed him as the collector and district magistrate of NTR district.

Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad issued a government order (Rt No 1884) to this effect on Sunday. The special chief secretary to the government, health, medical and family welfare department, will make necessary in-charge arrangements for the posts of vice-chairman and managing director of APMSIDC and chief executive officer of NTR Vaidya Seva until further orders, as stated in the government order.
