AP to Get Two More International Cricket Stadiums: MP Kesineni Shivanath

Vijayawada: AP will get two more international cricket stadiums, one at Mangalagiri and another at the capital city, Amaravati.

Vijayawada MP and Andhra Cricket Association president Kesineni Shivanath said here on Sunday that based on the directions from the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, they were going to develop another international cricket stadium at Amaravati in addition to the development of a similar stadium at Mangalagiri and added that they were getting support from CM Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to develop AP as a centre for the development of sports and games.

The MP inaugurated the Mangalagiri Premier League (PML), Season 3, a state-level cricket tournament, on Sunday, and the tournament would be held from Jan. 12 to 23 to mark the birthday celebrations of IT minister N. Lokesh.
