Vijayawada: A road, which was closed near the residence of YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s house at Tadepalli in Guntur district when he was the Chief Minister, was re-opened paving the way for residents to use it effectively.

After Jagan became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019, the road was closed restricting the owners to enter their newly purchased flats in apartments and since then it was closed. After TDP came to power in 2024 elections, the district administration removed barricades and reopened it for residents to utilize it.

A netizen, who posted a video on his twitter account, said, “It would be a big relief to Tadepalli people who earlier had to take a 1.5 km longer route, as the YSRCP government put barricades on three roads surrounding his residence. The barricades were removed and the closed road was reopened for common people.”
