Doubling works cause train cancellations in Nandyal district
Kurnool: Due to the ongoing doubling work on the Panyam, Bugganapalle, and Krishnammukone railway line, several trains have been cancelled and some have been diverted from 16th to 27th of this month," said Guntakal Railway DRM Vijaykumar.
He informed that the Guntur-Dhone (17228) and Dhone-Guntur (17227) trains have been cancelled.
It was also announced that the Puri-Yesvantpur (22883) train on the 20th of this month and the Yesvantpur-Puri (22884) train on the 21st have been diverted.
He stated that the Howrah-Yesvantpur (22831) train on the 18th and 25th of this month is being diverted via Nandyal, Erragunntla, Guntakal, and Anantapur. Similarly, the Yesvantpur-Howrah (22832) train on the 20th is being diverted via Anantapur, Guntakal, Erragunntla, and Nandyal.
It was also mentioned that the Guntur-Aurangabad (17253) and Aurangabad-Guntur (17254) trains are running two hours late every day.
