Girls inch ahead in AP Inter supplementary results 2024

Visakhapatnam: The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) announced the results for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examination (IPASE). A total of 210,820 students appeared for the IPASE MAY 2024 examination. The pass percentage was 78 per cent for students seeking improvement in their scores and 43 per cent for those who did not seek improvement.

Girls continued their trend of outperforming boys, with a pass percentage of 46 per cent compared to 41 per cent  for boys.

The vocational stream showed a higher pass percentage than the general stream for both improvement and non-improvement categories.

Combining the results of the main exam (IPE 2024) and the supplementary exam (IPASE 2024) for the 1st-year non-improvement category, the pass percentage reached 80% for the general stream and 78% for the vocational stream.

District-wise pass percentages for the 1st year general stream varied significantly, ranging from a high of 67% in Alluri Sitarama Raju district to a low of 31% in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.

The vocational stream also showed variations, with Parvathipuram Manyam district reaching 76% and YSR district falling to 33 per cent.
