Vijayawada: Telugu Desam president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan kalyan attended the NDA meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday and extended their support to elect PM Narendra Modi as the leader of the alliance.

After attending the meeting, Naidu tweeted on X: “Honoring the mandate given by the people of our country, all NDA partners unanimously endorsed PM Narendra Modi as our coalition leader at a meeting held in Delhi. Under his able leadership, we shall all strive to ensure that our country continues to prosper and emerge as a global leader.”

As the TD-JS-BJP alliance in AP won 164 Assembly and 21 Lok Sabha seats and of them, TD alone won 16 seats, JS-2 and BJP-3, AP’s contribution for BJP-led NDA is very crucial to form the government at the Centre for the third consecutive term.

BJP sources say that all the MPs from NDA are advised to reach Delhi by the evening on June 6.

Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are expected to visit Delhi again on June 7 while a swearing-in ceremony for the new Modi Cabinet is likely to be held on June 8.
