Nandyal Students Taken Ill After Consuming School Food

Kurnool: Around 100 students from S.D.R. World School and S.D.R. Junior College in Nandyal's Venkateswarapuram area fell sick on Friday night, suspected of food poisoning.

The school administration promptly transported the affected students to a nearby private hospital for treatment.Worried parents rushed to the hospital to check on their children's well-being.

District collector G. Raja Kumari formed a team comprising the revenue divisional officer (RDO), district medical and health officer (DMHO), and other officials to investigate the incident.

RDO Mallikarjun Reddy confirmed that while the students were experiencing discomfort, their condition was not life-threatening. He reassured parents that the students were receiving proper care and urged them to remain calm.
