New Year Wish: CM Naidu Confident 'All Good' will Happen in AP

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu sounded confident on Wednesday that “all good will happen” in Andhra Pradesh in the New Year. He wished that the people remain happy, healthy and see a hike in their income this year.”
The Chief Minister visited the Kanaka Durga temple atop Indrakeeladri and took a darshan of the deity, Goddess Durga, and offered special prayers there amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns by priests.
Later, Naidu told the media that he felt very happy taking darshan of the goddess and sought her blessings to the people in AP. He conveyed his New Year greetings to the Telugu people in both the states and also overseas and to all the Indians.
The chief minister paid a courtesy call on Governor Justice S Abdul Nazir at Raj Bhavan. The two exchanged greetings on New Year eve.
Meanwhile, talking to the media at the TDP headquarters at Mangalagiri, Naidu vowed to implement the ‘Super Six’ assurances he gave the people at the time of elections. He said, “Our government is having certain priorities, and we are governing the state accordingly.”
Referring to the historic win secured by the TD led alliance in the elections last year and its governance in the last six months, Naidu said, “The people reposed faith in us. We too are making all efforts to help them gain confidence in their own future.”
He said, “We are trying to cross the hurdles created by the last government in the execution of the Polavaram irrigation project and development of the capital city Amaravati. We are trying to overcome these, one by one,” he said and sounded confident that AP would be getting funds from the Centre to complete the Polavaram project as per schedule.

He noted that the project got the feasibility report from the technical committee. “We went to Delhi four times since the time of formation of our government to get funds for the major projects like Amaravati, Polavaram etc.”
