Relief for Satyavedu MLA as victim claims case false

Anantapur: There was a new twist in Satyavedu MLA Koneti Adimulam’s case as the victim woman reportedly filed an affidavit in the High Court on Friday stating that the allegations made by her were fake. The Telugu Desam MLA got relief following the affidavit that the case was false and filed under the pressure of a third party. The case was posted to September 25.

Satyavedu MLA Adimulam was facing charges over assaulting a TD woman leader from KBK Puram mandal and a case was registered at Tirupati East Police station. Further, the videos of the MLA with the woman went viral on social media and TD high command suspended him from the party. The MLA had filed a petition in the High Court seeking dismissal of the case against him.
