Swarna Rathotsavam performed in Srisailam

Kurnool: Swarna Rathotsava Seva was grandly performed at Srisailam on Monday, coinciding with Arudra Nakshatram. The event included special rituals such as Mahanyasapurvaka Ekadasha Rudrabhishekam, Annabhishekam, and poojas for Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba Ammavaru in the early hours.
As part of the Arudrotsavam, priests recited Sankalpam for global welfare and performed elaborate poojas for the deities on the golden chariot. The Rathotsavam began at 7:30 am, proceeding from the temple’s main gate through the four Mada Veedhulu. Devotees gathered along the route to witness the divine procession.
Temple executive officer M. Srinivasa Rao, Assistant Commissioner E. Chandrasekhar Reddy, Executive Engineer M. Narasimha Reddy, PRO T. Srinivasa Rao, priests, Veda pandits, and officials from various departments participated in the festivities. Devotees watched and offered prayers during the chariot festival along the four Mada Streets.
