TD, JS activists pelt stones at former minister Jogi Ramesh's residence

Vijayawada: Activists of the ruling Telugu Desam and Jana Sena pelted stones at former minister Jogi Ramesh’s residence on Feeryghat road under Ibrahimpatnam police station limits on Sunday.
Ibrahimpatnam police said four to five persons went in a car around 2.30pm to the former minister’s residence and pelted stones at it. They escaped from the scene by the same car after a police constable deployed at the former minister’s house tried to catch hold of them.
Based on a complaint, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case. Police made enquries and took five persons into custody in this connection.
Condemning the attack, the YSRC shared a video on X alleging that the TD and JS hooligans were behind the attack. They came in a car bearing registration number AP39KD3267 and pelted stones at the former minister’s residence and tried to attack the police constable there, the YSRC stated.
