800 Applications Pending: Telangana Haj Committee

Hyderabad:Chairman of the Telangana Haj Committee Sayed Afzal stated that out of the 8,150 Haj applications for this year, around 800 remained to be processed.

Additionally, 500 women can apply under the Mehram quota. The last date to pay the second installment for the pilgrimage is December 16.

 Liyakat Hussain Shaik, CEO, Haj Committee, said that out of the 8,150 applications, around 6,500 were initially accepted but 600-700 applicants cancelled their applications. Among the approximately 2,500 applications on the waiting list, 1,600 have been approved.
