Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the NDA government at the Centre stating that the BJP was a threat to the nation.
Participating in a demonstration at ED office here, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi fled without answering the issue related to Adani Scam in the Parliament. India’s total debt burden till 2014 was only Rs.55,000 crore. During Modi rule, the country’s debt burden increased to Rs.1.15 lakh crore in just 11 years. Modi alone doubled India’s debt burden as against 16 Prime Ministers who ruled the country.
According to Revanth Reddy, former Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru is highly regarded for constructing irrigation projects in the country. Indira Gandhi is the brain behind nationalization of the banks and made bank services accessible to the poor. She also took the bold decision of distributing lands to the poor.
Rajiv Gandhi introduced technological revolution in the country and also provided reservation for women in local bodies. Modi and Amit Shah are like “Hum do.. Hamare do..” The two BJP leaders' approach seems to be defrauding the world.
Demanding SEBI Chairman should resign immediately or the Centre should shunt the chairperson out, Revanth Reddy demanded the ED investigate the scam. “When the party gave a call, everyone, irrespective of their position, should obey. That is the reason I am participating in the protest program,” he said.
“BJP has become a big threat to the country. It is the responsibility of every Congress worker to eliminate it,” he said. “Why are BRS leaders not questioning BJP on the scam? We are least bothered if the BRS merged with BJP. Why is KCR not questioning BJP and KTR not posting messages about this robbery on Twitter?” he asked.
“It is enough to prove that BRS has been supporting the BJP which is looting the country’s wealth,” Revanth Reddy said, demanding BRS to clarify its policy on JPC. BRS leaders are making hue and cry on the installation of Rajiv Gandhi statue at Secretariat. No forces will remove the statue. If anyone touches the Rajiv Gandhi statue, they will end up receiving bruises on their back. Let those forces come forward and announce the date to remove the statue. BRS leaders are making comments on Telangana Talli after losing power.
Sonia Gandhi is a living example of Telangana Talli. The Telangana Talli statue will be installed inside the Secretariat on Sonia Gandhi's birthday on December 9. “We will prove that we are true heirs of Telangana Talli,” he said.
BRS leaders are spreading false propaganda on farmer loan waiver. Farmers should not get carried away by the canards spread by the BRS. “My government is ready to address all people’s problems. Don’t trust the BRS thieves who robbed Telangana for ten years. Ready for a debate on BRS contribution to the people in 10 years and the Congress government’s assistance in just 10 months,” he added.
Revanth Reddy said Harish Rao was playing dramas without resigning from the MLA post. BRS will not win even nine out of 39 seats it has won in the recently held Assembly elections. Later, a delegation led by Revanth Reddy submitted a memorandum to the ED officer seeking an ED probe into Adani Group.
