Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reviewed the current rain and flood situation in Telangana, directing ministers and officials to stay on high alert and promptly initiate relief measures for those affected.

The Chief Minister held discussions with senior ministers including Bhatti Vikramarka, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Damodara Raja Narasimha, and Jupally Krishna Rao. He also conducted a teleconference with the Chief Secretary, DGP, and officials from municipal, electricity, panchayati raj, HYDRAA, and irrigation departments, instructing them to avoid taking leave. Those already on leave were directed to return to duty immediately.

Officials were urged to closely monitor the ground situation and report directly to the Chief Minister’s office. CM Reddy also appealed to the public to avoid unnecessary travel and advised residents of low-lying areas to contact officials for assistance. Furthermore, he called upon Congress party members to remain vigilant and assist those in need.
