Man missing in left canal of NSP

Lavuri Shiva, 30, a native of Bolligutta in Damaracherla mandal, had left his house on Thursday morning.

Based on the items left at the canal, the police confirmed his identity.

A passerby, who saw the man jumping into the canal, alerted Vemulapally police. With the help of a local swimmer, the police began a search operation in the canal and are yet to find his body.

According to police, the reason for which the man took the extreme step is yet to be known.
