Nalgonda: Mystery continues over the role of three tahsildars in uploading the fake ownership data on a 7.5-acre land at Thummadam of Nidmanoor Mandal into the Dharani portal using a fake ‘lavani patta’.

The police arrested five persons — Bommu Srinivas, Mudigonda Suman, Bommu Adilakshmi, Marathi Surender Reddy, Marathi Swetha and Marathi Nirmala — and produced them before the first class judicial magistrate court.

The five accused manipulated the Dharani portal with the help of village revenue officer Mudigonda Suman.

In the remand report, it was reportedly mentioned that three tahsildars of Nidmanoor — Deshya Naik, Nagarjuna Reddy and A.R. Nagaraju — were added to the list of accused and shown as absconding. However, Nagarjuna Reddy reportedly inspected some seed shops on Friday.

The five accused approached the Nidmanoor village revenue officer for help to upload the data on the assigned land, which were obtained by them through fraudulent ways.
