Nagole Woman Stages Unique Protest to Demand Road Repairs

Hyderabad: In a unique protest, a woman on Thursday squatted in water on the main road at Nagole demanding officials to repair pothole-riddled roads in Anandnagar Colony.

While she staged the protest, passers-by just stood on the road without joining her to get the civic body to resolve the problem that everyone in the area faces.

As the protest was causing a traffic jam, traffic police tried to convince her to back off, but she did not relent.

Subsequently, seven more residents accompanied the woman with a poster, “We want a safe road. Won’t You?” Several residents appreciated the woman’s initiative.
