Telangana: Belt Shop Raided, One Nabbed

Hyderabad: The commissioner’s task force south zone team on Wednesday raided a belt shop at Pardiwada in Puranapool area and seized 57 liters of liquor in 264 liquor bottles of various brands.

The accused Nowkathwale Nitesh, 55, a fruit businessman, was found running a belt shop and illegally selling liquor from his house making illegal money, the police said. The seized liquor is worth about Rs.48,000.

The accused and the seized material were handed over to Kamatipura police for further action, a press release issued by the city police commissioner said.
