Richa Chadha focuses on work-mommyhood balance
Immerses herself in behind-the-scenes activity as she waits for her bundle of joy
Actor-producer Richa Chadha will soon start a new role as a real-life mother, and has already started figuring out how to balance both her career and family life.
Richa, who won hearts as Lajjo in Heeramandi, was busy promoting the show up until two weeks ago. And she was recently spotted attending the special screening of her husband Ali Fazal’s Mirzapur Season 3.
Our sources say, the little one is expected within a week, and Richa has shifted gear. She’s now focussing on the production assignments of Pushing Button Studios, the creative enterprise she runs with Ali.
“I have always said that the amount of rest a woman can afford in pregnancy is directly proportional to her privilege. Being a workaholic, I never had the time earlier to enjoy the behind-the-scenes aspects of my work,” she says.
Sharing that she’s busy reading scripts to decide which way their production journey should go, Richa says, “I really enjoy storytelling and both Ali and I as producers love to dabble in newer mediums and take risks.”
The success of Pushing Button Studios’ Girls Will Be Girls has underscored the couple’s commitment to quality storytelling and meaningful cinema.
