EPSON 3LCD laser ultra-short throw projectors launched in India
The 3LCD laser ultra-short throw projectors are claimed to provide up to 20,000 hours of operation with no maintenance required.
Epson has launched the world’s first 3LCD laser ultra-short throw projectors — the EB-1470Ui and EB-700U, in India. Both the projectors have been priced at Rs 2,80,999 and Rs 2,31,999 respectively. With the introduction of laser projection technology on the ultra-short throw projector platform, Epson claims to expand its reach into new markets for its products.
The 3LCD laser ultra-short throw projectors are claimed to provide up to 20,000 hours of operation with no maintenance required. Both the projectors are claimed to deliver 4,000 lumens of white and colour brightness and WUXGA beyond full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10 for a dynamic viewing experience. The projectors are capable of supporting up to 2,500,000 : 1 contrast ratio and are accompanied with various features such as auto brightness adjustment, automatic input selection, built-in speaker, digital zoom, direct power on/off, document camera compatible, driverless installation, iProjection App for Chromebook, split-screen-function, remote desktop connection, screen mirroring, whiteboard sharing function and wireless LAN capable.
The company claims that laser is the future of display technology and will allow for enhanced collaborative experiences and image quality with minimal or no maintenance available at an affordable cost. As for connectivity, these projectors feature USB 2.0 Type A and Type B, RS-232C, wired network, wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n, VGA, HDMI, S-Video , MHL, stereo mini jack, microphone input, finger-touch interface, Miracast, remote desktop connection, USB Interface for keyboard and DVI out (whiteboard).
